6:40pm - 7:10pm Working with Line Based Nested Components
Presented by Pradipta Banerjee, David M. Schwarz Architects

Line based families work great to represent a repeating component. However, as they are inherently built on a generic model template, there are certain limitations when it comes to scheduling. This presentation demonstrates the use of nested shared components, their visibility parameters and a few simple conditional formulas to represent and schedule repeating details such as parking stalls, toilet stalls with or without an ADA stall, etc. seamlessly in the design and documentation process.

7:10pm - 8:00pm Beverages and BIM
Presented by Revit DC Advisory Board

Please join the Revit DC Advisory Board for an in-person social networking session where we will celebrate the season with drinks and great conversation. The first beer or wine will be on us! We all share a common interest in modeling and how this technology is and will change the way we design and build.

We hope you will join us for this informal session of tech-talk as we capture ideas for our 2020 Revit DC meetings.
