Collaboration on project files and even Revit models is getting easier thanks to hosted solutions like BIM 360. But as more projects move to the cloud, there are more firm and project specific workflows that need to move there as well. Forge is a collection of software platforms that lets developers build custom solutions to review models, create PDFs, export information to other web platforms, or even edit a Revit model. And the best part is, it can all be done through a web browser opening design information and decisions to everyone on the project… not just the Revit users. We will cover the basics of what Forge is and cover some examples of what is being done and what can be done with it to make your lives easier.
